Caring

Meet Laurie Meyer

Our owner, Laurie Meyer, opened Amazing Angel LLC, following a personal experience with her grandfather. She is a genuine person who cares for her clients as if they were her parents or grandparents. From the initial call to Amazing Angel, you are family.

This is not just a saying Laurie lives by this principle. If Laurie cannot help, she will go out of her way to find someone who can.

Her human touch and hands-on approach are unmatched. Laurie is different than most agency owners. You will not find her sitting behind her desk all day or mingling at marketing meetings.
She is out in the field visiting clients, following up with families, and working one-on-one with care teams in the home. She is a strong advocate for her clients and not afraid to go above and beyond. Laurie treat all clients equal regardless of service hours. Ask anyone.

She gives her personal cell phone number to all clients and family members. Laurie believes in true 24-hour-a-day, seven-days-a-week owner access.

Laurie has a special place in her heart for Veterans. Both her grandfather and father proudly served our country. Each year she participates in Wreaths Across America at Bushnell National Cemetery.

If you have a loved one at Bushnell and are unable to attend, Laurie will be honored to place a wreath in their memory.

Laurie started her career in the Healthcare Field at 23 years old, where she worked in a Management Department for a hospital. In the course of her employment, she obtained her EKG and phlebotomy certifications and graduated from a management training school.

At age 28, Laurie transitioned into the home care industry. With no home care experience, Laurie became self-taught, worked hard, and remained true to herself.

Her career over the years included becoming a certified CPR trainer, owning a CNA test prep school, and selling and training a new home care agency business owners across the United States.

Laurie has two children, one of which is a Junior in high school. Her daughter is an honor student and her in 3rd year of naval science. Her son is a high school graduate and currently working towards obtaining his post-high school education.

She also has a German Shepard mix named Jaxson who thinks he's a five-pound baby. Laurie’s hobbies include baking desserts and trying new recipes. She is famous for her brownies! Laurie enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.
